Anyone who reads our blog is sure to know this already but I will share it with the web anyway! Stephen and I are moving home at the end of the semester!!! After a lot of prayer we decided this is where God was leading us. We love our families so much and desire to be as close as we can to them haha. A big part of our decision to move was to be able to serve alongside our church family at Eaglepoint. The Lord is doing wonderful things there through that ministry and we want to be a part of it! Our families are definitely excited to have us back. I have been in Auburn for 4 years and it has been 5 months for Stephen (he isn't a huge fan of living on the plains) so I am very eager so be back in J'ville. I hate that  he moved all the way down here just to unpack and move back but that is the way it goes sometimes. I will definitely miss working for Private Gallery. I thought I would be there for at least 3-5 years but God has other plans for us and it is our joy to be obedient! Our plan is to live upstairs at my parents house so we can save money for our own place. Stephen will finish school at JSU and I will work for my mom at Java Jolt! Stephen has applied for an internship with an accounting firm in Anniston. Brittany's friend told us about this awesome opportunity, we are still waiting to hear back but trusting God's timing is perfect!

In other news, I was able to go and see Caroline twirl a few weekends ago and man is she amazing!!!!  I couldn't be more proud of her! She looked so beautiful! Grandmom and Grandad came down to visit too so that was such a treat! I haven't seen them since our wedding! Stephen had to stay in Auburn to make that moolah so he missed out on the fun. Brittany and Zack had huge news to share that weekend too! They are planning to adopt a baby from Ethiopia! I feel so honored to have a sister who  is so obedient to God's plans!! She is such a great mother and Zack is an incredible father, this baby who isn't even born yet is going to have so much love! I am so happy for them!!!! Praying for a speeding process so we can have a new little one to play with and love on.

We spent Saturday night and Sunday in Birmingham to see Stephen's family. It was super fun but too short. His grandparents we in town from FL visiting. His family is so wonderful, I couldn't ask for better in-laws!! Stephen's grandpa's heath is in rapid decline so our time with him is so precious. I am so glad I married a man who places such importance on family! Thank you Jesus!

More soon as we spend our last two months in Auburn!

Labor Day weekend at home!

Long time no post! This weekend Stephen an I drove home to Jacksonville to spend labor day with our families. Needless to say we had a blast!!!! Can I just say I have the greatest family in the world?! There I did! We have missed them so much. Work and school have kept us in Auburn for the past two months but we couldn't miss the chance to go home this weekend. In fact we will probably go back twice more before the months over. We can't miss Captain Caroline in her senior majorette performance or her 18th birthday! How is she already turning 18??? Crazy! Stephen got to celebrate his birthday with my family this weekend too! Mom made yummy Mexican and strawberry pie. We also got to eat yummy Struts!! My favorite! Stephanie and Ken met us in Oxford for Sunday lunch which was so fun! They are so sweet!! And we hung out with Stephens dad and stepmom and his precious grandmother- which made me miss mine so terribly. Ready for the end of September so we can be reunited :)

Here are some pics of our weekend

August

Is it August already? The summer flew by so fast! The fall in Auburn is so fun, with the students back the store is always busy (which I love, since it makes the day go by faster). School starts back for Stephen which means he is one semester closer to finishing school (which I love even more). I'm not a huge football fan and I'm glad I didn't marry one either, Stephen loved playing but hates watching. One of the many reasons I fell in love with him :) However it is huge for everyone else here. I do miss the days of selling my tickets for shopping money....

Another fun thing August brings is my man's 20th Birthday!!!!!! That's right my Stephen will no longer be a teen...if he ever really was. Call me a cougar all you want but that guy acts so much older than his years! He went to see his mom in Birmingham last Sunday while I was in Fairhope for manager's meeting and came back with a new Ipad! Stephen loves his gadgets there is no doubt about that. My mom always made birthday's so fun, breakfast in bed was my favorite tradition! I am looking forward to making that a precedent in our home too!

Stephen has been busy working at Bazilia's, two doors down from Private Gallery....Have I mentioned that before? Sorry if it is a repeat! He enjoys it a lot! Thank you all for praying, we are so blessed!

More soon,

Kimberly

Photo Booth Pictures

We received our Photo Booth pictures in the mail this week!! YAY! Going through all of the pictures just made me laugh and smile, Stephen of course laughed at how excited I was getting. I couldn't wait to share some of our favorites!

Life in the Waters Household

Wow long time no post as my sweet Grandmother reminded me! Stephen has been busy with school and I with work but that is still no excuse :) It is our second month in and we are loving married life! We have been spending our free time decorating our apartment to make it more like home, watching Netflix, and learning to cook together. So far we have used pasta in every single dish so we are trying to take a little break from that. (I got 10 boxes of pasta for $10 right before we got married and it still isn't gone yet!) Its a little difficult with no grill but we are making it work. Stephen had an interview with a cafe much like Java Jolt two doors down from me last week. He is going to have a job preview next month, sounds promising!! He is super excited and so am I. We spent this past weekend getting addicted to Lost, Caroline, Mom and Brittany spent their beach trip watching it and convinced us to get on the bandwagon. We are obsessed, serious laggards and obsessed haha. Stephen just got out of class and we started another episode :) Okay I am a terrible multi-tasker so I will post more later with pictures!

First Week in our new reality!

Stephen and I were so excited to get back in Auburn and start our new life together! We have spent most of the time unpacking, cleaning out, and doing laundry. Stephen has been doing "women's work" since I have been back at work. He gets my breakfast ready every morning, does the dishes, and cooks dinner!! He is so good to me! However he is so ready to get a job and start back to school. Needless to say he will never be a stay at home dad. We are having so much fun in our new life together! As Stephen continues his job hunt please pray God will provide in his perfect timing! Stephen and I are so richly blessed thank you for your prayers over our marriage!

PS posts to come about the wedding and honeymoon!

16 Days!

I can't believe it but in a little over two weeks the long anticipated day will be here! Mom and Becky are busy busy planning- we had a last minute venue change that caught us off guard but they are making it work! I am just working not worrying about a thing haha not much I can do being in Auburn, poor me! Stephen is coming to Auburn tomorrow for SOS (successfully orienting students). He will be doing a little job searching too! Well my store is about to open so better get to work!

Shower Weekend

This past weekend was one full of showers for both Stephen and I! We had a blast! We are both so blessed with precious family friends who are willing to throw us amazing showers! Stephen had a tool and gadget where he got a ton of screw drivers and tool boxes and gift cards. All of which he is thrilled to use :) I had a tea thrown by ten amazing hosts! It was a peacock themed party, so fun fun!! It was so nice to see ladies I haven't seen in so long! My sweet friend Hali took pictures so I will post them when I get the DVD. The cake and decor was so beautiful, I couldn't have asked for a better tea! Also, when I got back to work my sweet Private Gallery Auburn girls planned a get together surprise for me! We ate at the yummy mellow mushroom, one of my favorite places downtown! Stephen and I are so incredibly blessed! Things are going so great with planning, there isn't much left to do! Becky our wedding planner from Becky's Brides, has done such an amazing job for us! We are so thankful!
