Anyone who reads our blog is sure to know this already but I will share it with the web anyway! Stephen and I are moving home at the end of the semester!!! After a lot of prayer we decided this is where God was leading us. We love our families so much and desire to be as close as we can to them haha. A big part of our decision to move was to be able to serve alongside our church family at Eaglepoint. The Lord is doing wonderful things there through that ministry and we want to be a part of it! Our families are definitely excited to have us back. I have been in Auburn for 4 years and it has been 5 months for Stephen (he isn't a huge fan of living on the plains) so I am very eager so be back in J'ville. I hate that he moved all the way down here just to unpack and move back but that is the way it goes sometimes. I will definitely miss working for Private Gallery. I thought I would be there for at least 3-5 years but God has other plans for us and it is our joy to be obedient! Our plan is to live upstairs at my parents house so we can save money for our own place. Stephen will finish school at JSU and I will work for my mom at Java Jolt! Stephen has applied for an internship with an accounting firm in Anniston. Brittany's friend told us about this awesome opportunity, we are still waiting to hear back but trusting God's timing is perfect!
In other news, I was able to go and see Caroline twirl a few weekends ago and man is she amazing!!!! I couldn't be more proud of her! She looked so beautiful! Grandmom and Grandad came down to visit too so that was such a treat! I haven't seen them since our wedding! Stephen had to stay in Auburn to make that moolah so he missed out on the fun. Brittany and Zack had huge news to share that weekend too! They are planning to adopt a baby from Ethiopia! I feel so honored to have a sister who is so obedient to God's plans!! She is such a great mother and Zack is an incredible father, this baby who isn't even born yet is going to have so much love! I am so happy for them!!!! Praying for a speeding process so we can have a new little one to play with and love on.
We spent Saturday night and Sunday in Birmingham to see Stephen's family. It was super fun but too short. His grandparents we in town from FL visiting. His family is so wonderful, I couldn't ask for better in-laws!! Stephen's grandpa's heath is in rapid decline so our time with him is so precious. I am so glad I married a man who places such importance on family! Thank you Jesus!
More soon as we spend our last two months in Auburn!
